The bacteria that causes Lyme disease often triggers inflammation in various parts of the body. Symptoms follow
accordingly
- Inflammation and soreness in the muscles and joints.
- Headaches which are usually severe. This may be caused by inflammation in the brain.
- A stiff, sore neck and an aching jaw.
- Fever and a feeling of nausea.
- A change in sleeping patterns, which may be a result of brain wave disruptions.
- A bad case of fatigue.
- A skin rash that appears a week or two after the tick bite occurs. This rash may look like a
red bulls eye--a red center, a clear ring around it, followed by a red ring. This rash is a classic symptom
of Lyme disease and you should see your doctor right away.
